EU Code Week 2026 will officially begin with an online launch event on 12 October 2026, bringing together the EU Code Week community, educators, policymakers, partners and digital skills advocates from across Europe.

Taking place from 14:00 to 16:00 CET, the event will be broadcast online from the Rapporteur studios in the heart of Brussels. This year’s theme, “Building Resilience, Connecting & Empowering Communities in the Age of AI”, reflects the growing importance of digital skills, coding and community-led learning in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
